Project Updates

January 2026

• Stormwater line has been installed and rerouted.
• Grit structure has been built and is scheduled to go online in Spring 2026.
• Chlorine contact tank has been built. Piping and chemical equipment will be ready for service in early 2026.
• The new operations building which includes new filters, electrical equipment for the facility, and operations space is under construction. The filters are scheduled to be operational in Summer of 2026.
• The new clarifier control structure is under construction while the facility is experiencing low flows during winter. The structure will be operational in Spring of 2026 before flows increase.
• Secondary spitter structure is demolished, and temp piping has been completed. Construction of the new structure will take place in early 2026.

July 14, 2025

• Construction started at the wastewater treatment plant in May of 2025.
• The contractor is working on the new grit chamber structure and new chlorine contact basin along with installing new site piping.
• Construction of the new operations building will begin later this summer and will include installation of new filtration equipment to meet mercury limits.
• Various treatment equipment and pump replacements will be occurring as equipment is delivered to the site.

April 10, 2025

• The contractor plans to begin construction at the wastewater treatment plant in May of 2025 beginning with construction of the new chlorine contact basin and clarifier control structure.
