17th & 18th East Streets/5th & 6th Avenues East Improvements
Overview
As a part of Hibbing Public Utilities Capital Watermain Improvement Plan, and an ongoing effort to improve the watermain system, work will take place from May to October 2025 in the following areas:
- 17th Street East:
- Full street reconstruction
- Water main replacements
- Storm sewer and drainage improvements
- Hydrant replacement
- 5th Avenue East:
- Full street reconstruction
- Water main replacement
- Storm sewer and drainage improvements
- Hydrant replacements
- 18th Street East:
- Water main replacements
- Hydrant replacements
- 6th Avenue East:
- Pavement resurfacing
- Water main replacement
- Hydrant replacements
