CSAH 2 Road Improvements Project
Redwood County Highway Department is continuing their planning efforts to reconstruct County State Aid Highway (CSAH) 2. Reconstruction will be from CSAH 11 to 305th Street, in Sherman Township. The Highway Department is pursuing Federal funding to support the project and is looking to collect input from residents, property owners and commuters. To collect ideas, we are seeking responses by completing the brief survey. Survey will close on August 27, 2024.
Construction of the project is contingent upon receiving state and/or federal funds. In order to be eligible for federal funding, the project must consider safety, environmental sustainability, quality of life, mobility and connectivity, economic competitiveness and opportunity, state of good repair, partnership and collaboration, innovation, environmental risk and cost-benefits.
In addition to the survey, an in person, public open house will be hosted on Monday, August 26, 2024 from 4 to 7 pm at the Redwood County Highway Department located at 1820 East Bridge Street, Redwood Falls. Please note there will be no formal presentation, so attendees may arrive at any time between 4 and 7 pm to learn more and provide comments. Please bring copies of any tile maps or intake locations on your properties near CSAH 2.
