Project Updates – June 5, 2026<\/h3>\n

This week in Stage 1, crews continued water and sanitary sewer installation work. Sidewalk removals, light and banner pole bases installations and watermain connections on Elm Street were completed.<\/p>\n

Next week, crews plan to continue installing light and banner pole bases. This week crews continued sanitary sewer and water service work in Stage 1, and is expected to finish next week. As a reminder, water shutoffs may be necessary during this work. Properties will be notified in advance of any impacts. During the workday, crews will do their best to accommodate regular access.<\/p>\n

Next week, crews plan to work on storm sewer, sidewalk removals and light and banner pole base installation in Stage 1. Access to front doors will be limited during this work.<\/strong> Areas will be restored with temporary walking mats when complete. During the workday, crews will do their best to accommodate regular access.<\/strong>[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”60″][vc_column_text css=””]May 27, 2026<\/strong><\/p>\n

On Thursday, May 28 and Friday, May 29<\/strong>, crews will complete concrete maintenance work in the 2023 construction area (two blocks of Main Street and one block of Olive Street).<\/p>\n

During this time, some parking stalls and sidewalk segments will be temporarily blocked. Pedestrians will be directed to alternate routes.<\/p>\n

Once the work is completed, sidewalks and parking stalls will be restored to their original condition. However, any newly placed concrete will be marked off and remain closed for approximately 7 days to allow the concrete to harden.<\/p>\n

The time and day of concrete work is subject to change due to weather or contractor scheduling changes. Properties will receive further notice if such changes occur. This week crews finished installing the sewer and water mains on Stage 1. Late this week crews began installing sewer and water services on Stage 1. This work began on First Street at Olive Street and will continue to the east for all of next week.<\/p>\n

Stage 1 watermain work continued and is almost complete up to Pine Street. Watermain testing will occur in the coming days with water service work beginning late next week or the week of May 26.<\/p>\n

This week, crews completed roadway removals in the Stage 1 area and started sanitary sewer work between Olive Street and Pine Street. Over the coming week, crews will begin watermain installation in the Stage 1 area.<\/p>\n

Xcel Energy was also on site this week to remove and relocate poles on 1st Street and 2nd Street that conflict with future construction activities.<\/p>\n

During utility connection work, water may need to be turned off to some properties to connect it to the existing water system. The affected properties will be notified prior to these occurrences. During the workday, crews will work to accommodate regular access as much as possible.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”60″][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/3″][vc_column_text css=””]<\/p>\n
