Proposed Improvements
The City of Willmar is planning to reconstruct Thompson Parking Lot and Ella Avenue Path. Construction is anticipated to begin May 2024.
Project Update – June 21, 2024
Week of 17:
- Complete Tree Removals
Week of 24:
- Complete removals of existing path and parking lot pavement
- Begin gravel installation for parking lot and path
Week of June 1:
- Complete gravel installation for parking lot and path
- Complete paving for Ella Avenue path
Starting the week of June 24, the Thompson Park parking lot and Ella Avenue path will be closed to the public until construction is completed.
