Design is currently underway, with construction anticipated to begin in May. Improvements include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Street diet\n<ul>\n<li>The proposed street diet involves reducing the existing roadway width from approximately 52 feet to a consistent width of 38 feet. This modification will continue to accommodate on-street parking on both sides and providing cost savings for the city and adjacent property owners\u2014both in terms of initial project expenses and
