Project Overview
The City of Cottage Grove as part of its Pavement Management Program will be reconstructing streets in the Prestige Estates Neighborhood. At this time, pavement, curb and gutter has reached the end of its lifecycle and is due for more major maintenance. Due to the nature of the construction, the project will be constructed in multiple phases to maximize access to residents throughout construction.
Street construction is weather dependent; therefore, the schedule is subject to change. There will be ongoing communication providing project schedule updates.
Safety is the highest priority of everyone involved in this project. While the contractor will do their best to provide warning signs, barricades, and observation within the project areas, we do ask that you remind children to stay clear of the construction site and equipment

Phase 1 – Jenner Ave and 79th Street S
Work completed week of July 22:
- New street lights installed
Anticipated work for week of July 29:
- Damaged curb to be removed and replaced throughout project 8/5-8/9
Phase 2 – Jocelyn Ave
Work completed week of July 22:
- New street lights installed
Anticipated work for week of July 29:
- Topsoil to be placed 7/25
- Mailboxes to be reinstalled 7/30
- Damaged curb to be removed and replaced throughout project 8/5-8/9

Type of Construction
Full Pavement and Curb Replacement
The project involves the removal and replacement of the existing asphalt surface as well as concrete curb and gutter. Additionally, some minor repairs to the sanitary sewer, watermain, storm sewer, and street light systems will be performed.
