Overview
Project Overview
The City of Algona is planning street improvements in several areas of the community to help maintain safe, reliable, and accessible roadways for residents, businesses, and visitors. The project will include replacing sections of concrete curb and gutter, resurfacing streets with new asphalt, and completing related improvements to support the long-term condition and function of the streets. Additional work may include driveway repairs, accessible sidewalk ramp upgrades, storm sewer updates, manhole adjustments, erosion control, and restoration of grass areas disturbed during construction. These improvements are intended to extend the life of the roadway, improve drainage where needed, and provide a smoother, more dependable travel surface.
