N 3rd & 4th Avenue Alley Reconstruction
Project Overview
The City of Aurora is reconstructing the ally between N 3rd Avenue and 4th Avenue, between North 1st Street W and North 4th Street W. The project will line the sanitary sewer and reconstruct the pavement section. The project will also include driveway and curb and gutter replacement as necessary and restoration of disturbed lawn areas.
Total Project Cost – $1 Million
Project Updates
January 2026
- The project is substantially complete. The contractor will continue with punchlist items in Spring 2026.
Fall 2025
- The contractor will line the sanitary sewer
July 2025
- The contractor will begin work on the sanitary sewer, followed by the reconstruction of the alley pavement.
January 2025
- Project funding has been allocated in the 2025 budget and construction is anticipated for summer of 2025.
December 2024
- Received $200,000 Infrastructure grant from the Iron Range Resource & Rehabilitation Board
June 2024
- The project is not currently funded and the City is actively seeking funding sources to move the project forward.
