FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What should I do with my garbage can during construction?

You can put out your garbage cans for pickup as you normally would. The contractor will coordinate with the garbage company and make sure your cans are returned.

What should I do with my mail?

If there are impacts to your mailbox due to construction, the contractor will place a temporary mailbox.

When will my street be closed, and how do I access my driveway?

Please see our phasing map for which streets will be under construction and when. Where work is being done, streets will generally be closed with limited driveway access during working hours.

Every effort will be made to restore roadway access so residents can access their driveway. If construction is delayed due to inclement weather, assume it will proceed the following day. Driveway access disturbances will be coordinated with residents as necessary.

Will my sewer or water service be disrupted?

We aim to limit interruptions to sewer and water service, however, planned shut-downs and disruptions will occur. Residents will receive written notice of longer shut off periods.

Your residence will be connected to a temporary water supply system until the new pipes are installed and tested. This may result in a decrease in water pressure.

When are construction meetings?

Weekly construction meetings are Tuesdays at 10 a.m. at the intersection of 11th Avenue and 4th Street. Residents and businesses are welcome to attend if they have questions or concerns about the project.
