Project Overview
The City of Kenyon is planning a street and utility improvement project for 2025 construction. The work scope will vary, depending on the specific street.

Water Replacement: New watermain and water services will be installed. Most new pipe will be installed using drilling (trenchless) methods; however, some spot excavation and pavement replacement will be required
Full Reconstruction: The pavement section will be replaced in its entirety, including pavement and aggregate base materials. All new streets will receive curb and gutter. Select streets may also receive new sidewalk. Underground storm sewer, sanitary sewer, watermains, and private services will be replaced within the right-of-way.
Pavement Overlay: The top layer of pavement will be removed and replaced with new asphalt.
Sanitary Sewer Lining & Repairs: A sleeve will be installed inside of the existing sanitary sewer pipe. Spray-on liners will be applied inside manhole structures. Some localized spot repairs requiring minor excavations will be required.
