Project Overview

Street Improvements

The City of Little Canada is planning rehabilitation efforts on several streets during the 2025 construction season. The City’s 2025 work plan includes proposed street and utility improvements to the following streets:

  • Nadeau Road
  • Stoneridge Court
  • Maple Leaf Court

Goals for this project include pavement rehabilitation, spot curb and gutter repair, minor watermain improvements, storm and sanitary sewer improvements, and other improvements in accordance with the City’s Comprehensive Plan.

Construction is anticipated to occur between June and August with minor wrap-up work occurring after Labor Day. Access to properties will be maintained throughout construction. Interruptions to regular access will be communicated to residents and property owners to the greatest extent possible. Please use caution when driving or walking in the work zone; safety for residents and construction crews is the number one priority.

Park Improvements

Additionally, the City conducts an annual review of its trail and sidewalk infrastructure to ensure a safe and user-friendly system. For the 2025 construction season, portions of the following trail systems are scheduled for rehabilitation:

  • Pioneer Park
  • Spooner Park

The plan includes the creation of two ponds in the Pioneer Park area, which will be surrounded by lush vegetation to enhance the park’s ambiance. The lower parking lot at Spooner Park will also undergo renovation to improve its functionality and appearance.

Residents may notice construction between May and July. Park and trail users should pay special attention to trail closure signs and avoid the work area until the work is complete. This helps ensure everyone’s safety.
