Overview

The City of Storm Lake will be replacing the Scout Park sewer lift station and the Ice House sewer lift station on the southwest portion of Vista Drive. The new lift stations will improve sanitary sewer capacity and prevent loss of service due to flood hazards. During construction, lane shifts and closures are planned for portions of Lighthouse Drive and Vista Drive.

May 6, 2025 – Neighborhood Meeting #2 at Scout Park

May 14, 2025 – Neighborhood Meeting #3 at Ice House

May 2025-November 2025 – Ice House (Vista Drive) Lift Station Construction

May 2025-Spring 2026 – Scout Park Lift Station Construction

Spring 2026-Summer 2026 – Ice House and Scout Park Site Restoration and Lift Station Startup

Summer 2026 – Substantial Construction Completion

Fall 2026 – Final Construction Completion
