Construction Updates
Week of October 24:
- Residents that live on Mill Street: please have your cars off the road by Sunday night as Holtmeier will be fine grading the road on Monday. Thank you!
- Minneopa concrete will start pouring driveways today and into next week on 1st, 2nd, Kruse, and Quarterline Streets.
Past Updates
Week of October 13:
Railroad boring has been completed
Minneopa Concrete will be in town to set up string line for driveways and curb.
Please note: Residents that live on 1st, 2nd, Quarterline, and/or Kruse Streets must have their cars out of their driveways and parked on the road or outside the construction site by 8:00 a.m. on Monday, October 20. They plan to start pouring concrete on Wednesday.
Week of September 29:
- All underground utility work has been completed, except the north and south alleys of 2nd Street
- Tree clearing is scheduled to begin soon, to bore under the railroad tracks
Week of September 22:
- Storm sewer was started on 1st street and will continue into the week of September 29.
- The contractor finished water services on 2nd Street and Kruse Street.
- Sewer and water services were completed on Quarterline Street
Week of September 15:
- Sewer and water utility work is finished on Kruse Street and services will be done by the end of today (September 19).
- Storm sewer is finished on 2nd Street.
- All curb, gutter, and driveways are finished on Mill Street.
Week of September 8:
- The contractor has finished utilities on Mill Street along with water service on 1st, 2nd, Quarterline, and Welcome Streets.
- Work on Kruse street has begun starting with the watermain.
- On Monday, September 15 the curb crew will be working on Mill Street.
Week of August 18:
- The contractor has been connecting sewer and water services to houses on Mill Street this week.
- The contractor plans to finish the storm sewer on Mill Street next week.
Week of August 4:
- Sanitary sewer mainline installation is about halfway complete on Mill Street.
- The contractor plans to bring another crew onto Quarterline Street to start setting up temporary water services.
Week of July 28:
- The contractor, Holtmeier Construction, finished the watermain on Mill Street on Monday, July 28
- Sanitary sewer construction was delayed on Tuesday and Wednesday due to weather conditions
- Sanitary sewer construction began Thursday, July 31 on the West end of Mill Street
Week of July 21
- This week, Holtmeier Construction began removing the old watermain pipe and installing a new one. The installation is progressing smoothly, and the crew anticipates completing the watermain work by Monday or Tuesday of next week.
