Project Updates – December 11, 2024
Construction for the 10th Street NW Improvement Project is complete for the 2024 construction season. The final layer of bituminous pavement will be paved in the spring of 2025. Residents will be notified prior to this work being completed. Additionally, all areas disturbed by the project will be monitored in the spring for turf establishment. Reseeding will be completed as necessary throughout the project area.
Seeding: Once temperatures are consistently above freezing, residents are advised to follow the Newly Seeded Lawn Maintenance Guide.
Winter Concrete Care: New concrete is more susceptible to the freeze and thaw cycles in its first year which causes cracking. Residents can help reduce the possibility of damage by reducing or eliminating salt usage on the new concrete. Please refer to the Winter Concrete Care Guide for more information.
