10th Street NW Improvement Project
Proposed Improvements
The City of Willmar is planning to improve the 10th Street NW area in 2024. Design is currently underway, with construction anticipated to begin in May.
Improvements include:
- Asphalt streets with concrete curb and gutter
- Concrete driveway aprons
- Sanitary sewer system
- Water main, hydrants and water services
- Storm sewer system
Project Updates – May 9, 2025
Week of May 19:
- Concrete repairs will be completed throughout the project area.
- Residents will be notified if it is anticipated that concrete replacement work will impact driveways.
- Miscellaneous project work and clean-up throughout project area.
Week of June 2:
- Paving of the final layer of street pavement will be completed.
- Notices will be handed out prior to paving with more information.
Residents are encouraged to begin watering grass 1-2 times per day for 10-15 minutes for best results.
There should be no impact to garbage/recycling and mail services through the remainder of the project.
