10th Street NW Improvement Project
Proposed Improvements
The City of Willmar is planning to improve the 10th Street NW area in 2024. Design is currently underway, with construction anticipated to begin in May.
Improvements include:
- Asphalt streets with concrete curb and gutter
- Concrete driveway aprons
- Sanitary sewer system
- Water main, hydrants and water services
- Storm sewer system
Project Updates – October 14, 2024
Construction for the 10th Street NW Improvement Project is just about complete for the 2024 construction season. Over the next few weeks, the Contractor will be installing permanent signage, raising underground utility structures to the surface, and burying private utility lines. Residents should continue to complete routine maintenance of there lawns until freezing weather occurs. Once temperatures are consistently above freezing in the spring, residents are advised to continue following the Newly Seeded Lawn Maintenance Guide.
