Project Overview

Project Objectives

• Full reconstruct of 3^rd Avenue & 4^th Avenue (from 9^th Street to 11^th Street).
• Improve street surface conditions.
• Replace deteriorating utility infrastructure.
• Enhance the downtown corridor streetscape.

Proposed Improvements – Reconstruction

• Replace all storm sewer, water and sanitary sewer mains and services.
• Construct a new concrete street.
• Construct concrete sidewalks with colored treatments.
• Pedestrian bump-outs at intersections.
• New ornamental street lighting.

Project Area

The project will be performed over two years.

• Phase 1 – 2024 – 3^rd Avenue
• Phase 2 – 2025 – 4^th Avenue
