Overview
The City of Wyndmere will soon continue the construction for the Storm Sewer and Street Improvements Project Phase 1B. This project has been in process for several years and entails the following areas for the 2021 construction season:
2021 Construction:
- 1St Street (Date Avenue to Cedar Avenue)
- 2nd Street (Date Avenue to Birch Avenue)
- 3rd Street (Date Avenue to Ash Avenue)
- Ash Avenue (3rd Street to Elevator Road)
- Birch Avenue (3rd Street to Elevator Road)
- Cedar Avenue (3rd Street to Elevator Road)
- Elevator Road (Ash Avenue to storm water pond south of Wyndmere School Football Field)
Improvements will include complete replacement of bituminous pavement, curb and gutter, watermain and services. New underground storm sewer will be constructed in addition to a stormwater retention pond. Construction is slated to start mid-May 2021.
