The special assessment benefit appraisal has been completed in draft form and can be viewed at the following link: CSAH 36 Special Benefit Consultation Report

The following schedule is anticipated for the remaining special assessment process:

• August 8, 2022– Call for Assessment Hearing *
• August 8, 2022– Order Preparation of Proposed Final Assessment Roll *
• August 19, 2022– Send Notice for Assessment Hearing to Le Sueur County News
• August 24, 2022– Mail Notice for Assessment Hearing to property owners with the final assessment amount
• August 24, 2022– Notice for Assessment Hearing published in Le Sueur County News
• September 8, 2022– Hold Neighborhood Assessment Public Information Meeting (Open House)
• September 12, 2022– Hold Special Assessment Hearing *
• September 26, 2022– City Council Adopt Final Assessment Roll *
• By November 30, 2022– Approve Certification of Assessment Roll & File with County Auditor

Properties intended to receive a special assessment are included in the Proposed Assessment Map.
