Cottageville Park Improvements
The City of Hopkins will begin storm sewer work on Cottageville Park the week of July 29th, weather permitting. During construction there should be limited impacts to the surrounding properties and the contractor will maintain all concrete curbing and sidewalks. Construction is anticipated to last 4 weeks from start to finish.
The storm sewer improvements area can be viewed on the map below, as shown in red. The City’s Contractor will be improving and cleaning out the stormwater system that is under the grass field and leads to Minnehaha Creek. Residents will not be able to use the field within the construction area until work is completed, including underground work and turf restoration. Some parking in the area may be restricted as well to allow access for trucks and construction equipment. For any questions or concerns, please reach out to the project help line or project contacts.
