How long will it take?

Now that the Highway 10/169 Project will be built as one major project that encompasses Thurston Avenue, Fairoak Avenue, and Main Street, the City, MnDOT, and Anoka County are moving forward with project development. The schedule below shows current and ongoing activities through construction, which will begin in 2022 and last through 2023.

Construction Timeline

Construction will begin in 2021 with the Greenhaven Parkway Extension Project, which will provide alternate routes during the following construction stages.

Announcements & Events

This October, lane grading and resurfacing will take place at Fairoak Avenue and Thurston Avenue, beginning Monday, Oct. 18 and concluding on Friday, Oct. 29.
