July 26, 2024:
Work Completed This Week
- Storm Sewer installation on Stage A (Dickman to Dawson) was completed
- Storm Sewer main installation on Stage B (Dawson to Danel) was completed
- Street base materials on Stage A were installed in preparation for curb & gutter
- Street construction on Stage B began
- Pits for the trenchless railroad pipe crossing on Dixie Ave were dug in preparation for the crossing construction next week
Construction Work Next Week
- Concrete curb & gutter is expected to be installed on Stage A on Monday
- Affected properties have been notified
- Pedestrian access to downtown businesses will be maintained during this time
- Concrete driveways in Stage A are expected to be poured
- Sidewalks in Stage A will be prepped
- Street work on Stage B will continue
- The trenchless railroad pipe crossing on Dixie Ave will begin
- The contractor continues to pump down ground water on Stage D & G and is looking to resume sanitary sewer construction late next week
- Sewer Construction on Stage G (Dawson between 292nd & 290th) will start 1-2 weeks after Stage D begins
Upcoming Construction Work
- Street Paving on Stage A 291st is expected to occur 1-2 weeks
- Sidewalks and restoration on Stage A will occur in the next 1-2 weeks
- Concrete curb & gutter on Stage B is expected soon
