Construction Updates

Week of July 14

The contractor ground the existing pavement along Tracy Road from Warren Ave to Section Ave.
Tracy Road was closed from Lyndale Ave to Section Ave on July 17.
Section Avenue was closed at the Tracy Road intersection on July 17.
- Residents from the Northridge Lane neighborhood should use Lyndale Avenue for access.
The contractor began roadway removals along Tracy Road starting at the Section Avenue intersection and plan to continue to Lyndale Avenue.

Week of July 21

The contractor plans to begin sanitary sewer work in the Section Avenue intersection.
A temporary water shutdown is scheduled for new valve replacement on Wednesday July 23.
- Homes effected will be notified individually with door hangers early next week. This will include the scheduled time and duration. Areas effected:
  - Northridge Lane
  - Lyndale Avenue, north of Tracy Road
  - Kenilworth Place, North of Tracy Road
  - Tracy Road, from Lyndale Avenue to Section Avenue
  - Section Avenue, from Tracy Road to Farmer Street

Monday – 7/14: The contractor plans to grind the existing asphalt pavement throughout Phases 1 and 2 (Tracy Road from Warren Ave to Section Ave). Tracy Road will be closed to through traffic. Section Ave traffic may see some interruptions during this process. Driveway access will also be interrupted but restored in a timely manner.
Thursday – 7/17: Section Ave (CSAH 1) and Tracy Road (CSAH 8) intersection closure will begin. The contractor plans to remove the pavement and gravel base within Phase 1 in preparation for utility reconstruction.
Monday – 7/21: The contractor plans to begin utility reconstruction within Phase 1. The Section Ave (CSAH 1) and Tracy Road (CSAH 8) intersection is anticipated to open to traffic within 5-6 weeks.

Private utility contractors are nearing completion of their relocation work.
The street and utility contractor, Snow Contracting, plans to begin work in mid-July. They plan to grind the existing pavement on July 14^th (weather dependent). Removal and utility work in the Section Avenue and Tracy Road intersection will follow.
A newsletter will be sent out with a phasing map and additional information.

Private utility contractors to begin relocation work ahead of the street and utility project as early as next week (6/2/2025). Utility companies will contact you directly if they expect any service interruptions. There may be some temporary driveway impacts during the day.
Street and utility contractor schedule will be provided within the next few weeks.

The street and utility contractor plans to start construction work towards the end of June.
Over the next several weeks, private utility companies may be completing some of their relocation work. Utility companies will contact you directly if they expect any service interruptions. During this time, there should be no impacts to driveway access.
