Overview

The City of Storm Lake will be improving Memorial Road and the underlying utilities in the summer of 2024.  The improvements will include upgrades to the storm sewer system as part of flood protection strategies the city has been pursuing.  In addition to this work, the city will be replacing aging sanitary sewer and upgrading the gravel road to a concrete surface with curb and gutter.  Lane shifts and closures are anticipated to facilitate utility crossings of Highway 7.
