Paving will be pushed back to Saturday, May 31. The plan is still to place the last layer of bituminous on all streets. Holtmeier has gone around and placed “No Parking” signs on all streets within the project. These “No Parking” signs are intended for Friday evening through Saturday. Tack (a sticky substance) will be applied to the existing pavement prior to paving the last layer. To avoid driving on the tack, please have all vehicles out of your driveway and off from the street by Friday evening. Once the bituminous has been placed and compacted, it needs time to cool down. You may use the street and access your driveways again Saturday evening.
