Noise Wall Meeting

Per federal requirements, a noise barrier analysis has been conducted and results show a need to construct three noise barriers (see map above). In accordance with noise regulations, a formal meeting and public vote involving the affected parties is required. Meeting information was mailed to the affected parties on January 18. If you did not receive this mailing you are not a benefitting receptor and do not need to attend the meeting.

Both an in-person and virtual meeting opportunity were held discuss details, share thoughts and ask questions about the noise barrier prior to the vote. If you were unable to attend, please review the Zoom presentation recording and mail your ballot by Feb. 21. You can also review MnDOT’s noise wall brochure or more information on the process.
