9th Street Utility and Street Improvements
Project Overview
The City of International Falls is improving 9th Street from 14th Avenue to Highway 53. The proposed improvements include:
- Addition of a multi-use path along the north side of the corridor
- New concrete curb and gutter and roadway pavement
- Water main, storm sewer and sanitary sewer replacements
- Lead service line replacement
Project Updates: Sept. 12, 2025
Completed work
Installed sewer water services on 9th Street from 11th Avenue to 10th Avenue.
Began storm sewer installation in the 9th Street / 10th Avenue intersection.
Upcoming work
- Finish storm sewer installation in the 9th Street / 10th Avenue intersection.
- Begin sanitary sewer main and water service installation on 9th Street from 10th Avenue to 9th Avenue.
