Project Updates: Nov. 25, 2025

We’ve successfully completed Phase 1 of the 2025-26 Street & Utility Improvements (9th Street)! Here’s a quick summary:

• Completed necessary tree removals throughout the project area.
• Installed new sanitary sewer, storm sewer and watermain infrastructure from 11^th Avenue to 8^th
• Replaced Lead Service Water Lines from new curb stop to the water meter in the house.
• Reconstructed the road, including new pavement, from 11^th Avenue to 8^th
• Temporary restoration of areas that were disturbed during construction.

Next steps for spring 2026:

• We will provide updates/notices as we get closer to starting back up in the spring.
• Work will include:
  • Removing tree stumps, curb & gutter, pavement and concrete sidewalk from 11^th Avenue to 3^rd
  • Sanitary sewer, water and storm sewer improvements from 8^th Avenue to 3^rd
  • Lead Service Water Line replacements from 11^th Avenue to 3^rd Avenue and on 5^th Street and 6^th
  • Street lighting installations from 14^th Avenue to 3^rd
  • Bike trail installation from 14^th Avenue to 3^rd
  • Permanent restoration of all disturbed areas.
