9th Street Utility and Street Improvements
Project Overview
The City of International Falls is improving 9th Street from 14th Avenue to Highway 53. The proposed improvements include:
- Addition of a multi-use path along the north side of the corridor
- New concrete curb and gutter and roadway pavement
- Water main, storm sewer and sanitary sewer replacements
- Lead service line replacement
Project Updates: Nov. 10, 2025
Completed work
- Continued replacing lead service lines.
- Began curb stop adjustments, trail gravel placement and general restoration and clean-up work.
Upcoming work
- Continue lead service line replacement from curb to water meter from 10th Avenue to 9th Avenue. This will require work authorization from property owners.
- Continue curb stop adjustments, trail gravel placement and general restoration and clean-up work.
