Stenberg Addition and 14th Street Mill and Overlay Improvements
Project Overview
The City of International Falls is improving:
- 14th Street
- 16th Street
- 17th Street
- 18th Street
- 15th Avenue
- 13th Avenue
These roads are proposed for mill and overlay work, which is the least invasive and time-consuming process of repaving roads. Only the top layer of pavement is replaced to provide a new surface for vehicles to drive on.

Completed work
- Formed driveway aprons in front of the ambulance and fire station and the stoop at the library.
- Milled and replaced miscellaneous curb & gutter in Stenberg addition and on 14th Street.
Upcoming work
City Hall and Library
- Preparing and paving both parking lots.
- Finish concrete work in front of library.
Stenberg Addition and 14th Street
- Continue replacing damaged curb & gutter.
- Paving work.
