May 1, 2018 - Open House
This meeting was held prior to the start of construction to share information regarding what to expect during construction and to introduce community members to the Construction Administrator and Community Liaison. Current staging plans, estimated construction timeline, and anticipated detour routes were available for review.

This meeting with the Business Advisory Committee (BAC) and Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC) was scheduled to gather initial input on the construction staging plan.
NOTE: The City Council, after a work session on Monday October 24, has directed project staff to move forward with the detour staging plan (Option 1 in presentation) and the first lighting alternative as presented at the Construction Staging Workshop on Thursday September 29 (cobra fixtures at intersections, acorn fixtures at mid-block locations).

This meeting provided information on the recommended roadway and streetscape plan.
NOTE: Following Open House #1, on June 20, the South St. Paul City Council passed a motion to adopt a two-way stop at the intersection of 12th Avenue and Southview Boulevard rather than a mini roundabout.
