Scott County, the City of Prior Lake, and the Project Team understand that a publicly acceptable plan is essential to the overall success of the project. Area property owners and businesses have individual perspectives on how this area should function and feel. Sharing their unique ideas, vetting their issues, and helping them understand why this project needs to happen will be fundamental aspects of the project.

The fifth public open house was held on April 25, 2019 from 4-6 p.m. at Fong’s Restaurant in Prior Lake. This meeting offered a chance to speak with project staff and learn more about what is being built, construction staging, detours, and communication for the CH 21 Downtown Improvement Project, the TH 13 Reconstruction Project, & and the Duluth Avenue Intersection Improvement Project.

The fourth public open house was held on May 16th, 2018 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Prior Lake City Hall. This meeting included information on the draft construction staging plans for the CH 21 Downtown Improvement Project, the TH 13 Reconstruction Project, & and the Duluth Avenue Intersection Improvment Project. Draft streetscape concepts were also on display for public comment.

The third public open house was held on December 5th, 2017 from 5:30-7:30 at Prior Lake City Hall. This meeting included information on the recommended alternative, streetscape opportunities, roundabout education, other upcoming construction projects in the area, and construction staging strategies possible to efficiently complete the project and minimize impacts to downtown businesses.

At this meeting project alternatives for the 13-21 Downtown Reconstruction Project were presented and available for review. Staff was present to answer questions and listen to your feedback. OPEN HOUSE #1
The first public open house for the County Highway 21 Downtown Prior Lake Reconstruction Project was on Thursday June 29th from 4:30-7:30 pm at the Prior Lake City Hall.
This meeting explored the purpose of the project, project goals and objectives, and the broader vision for the corridor. The open house was geared towards building a common understanding of current conditions, opportunities, and potential impacts in the corridor and project area. We thank those who could join us to share their input.
