Public Involvement

Scott County, the City of Prior Lake, and the Project Team understand that a publicly acceptable plan is essential to the overall success of the project. We are committed to an approach that identifies and involves stakeholders early in the decision-making process, listens to and understands concerns, and informs and maintains communication with project partners and stakeholders. Area property owners and businesses have individual perspectives on how this area should function and feel. Sharing their unique ideas, vetting their issues, and helping them understand why this project needs to happen will be fundamental aspects of the project.

Multiple opportunities for public involvement will be provided throughout the project process. Check back often for details on upcoming public information meetings and engagement opportunities!
