Property Owner Office Hours
Office hours for the project will be held every Thursday starting in May from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the job trailer in City Square Park. A project representative will be available to discuss any construction concerns with interested property owners.

Past Engagement
January 2024 Open House
An open house was held on Tuesday, January 30 to discuss Phase 2 of the Downtown Reconstruction project. Information about the final design and project schedule were shared and questions and concerns from property owners were addressed. If you were unable to attend, you can review the informational materials that were shared below. If you have any questions, please reach out to one of the project contacts listed.
October 2023 Assessment Hearing
The second of the two public hearings for the Phase 1 project was held. The final project costs, the timing/process for assessment payments, and a summary of the remaining construction items were shared. Property owners were able to address the City Council about the completed construction and about their final assessment. The City Council approved the final assessment roll at this meeting. For property owners that do not prepay their assessment, the assessed amount will be on their Carver County tax statement beginning in 2024.
September 2023 Improvement Hearing
The first of two public hearings for the Phase 2 project was held. The project scope and estimated costs were discussed, and property owners were able to address the City Council. The Council authorized the final design of the project at a later City Council meeting on October 16, 2023.
February 2023 Open House
The purpose of this meeting was to share the progress on the final design, share the anticipated schedule moving forward, address any property concerns that may be able to be included in the design, and to answer questions.
