Project Updates – July 17, 2026
Work Completed This Week
In Stage 1, crews:
- Continued sidewalk concrete work.
Work Planned Next Week
In Stage 1, crews plan to:
- Continue driveway and landscape restoration.
- Properties will receive notices with instructions for proper sod care at the time of installation.
- Install light poles along 1st Street.
- Complete roadway striping.
- Reopen the road Friday, July 24. This date is weather dependent and may change.
In Stage 2, crews plan to:
- Install erosion control and traffic control.
- Close the Stage 2 area Thursday, July 23, weather permitting.
- This area includes Elm Street between 1st Street and 2nd Street, 2nd Street between Elm Street and Pine Street, and Pine Street between 1st Street and 2nd Street (see map below).
- Initial work includes removing pavement, curb and gutter, and other infrastructure in preparation for utility construction.

July 10, 2026
Work Completed This Week
In Stage 1, crews:
- Paved the first layer of pavement.
- Began sidewalk concrete work between Olive Street and Elm Street.
- Complete sidewalk concrete preparation work.
Work Planned Next Week
In Stage 1, crews plan to:
- Continue sidewalk concrete work throughout the project area.
- Properties will be notified in advance of any impacts. Front door access will be unavailable for one day during this work.
- Begin driveway and landscape restoration.
- Properties will receive notices with instructions for proper sod care at the time of installation.
Phase 3 (area shown in green) parking stall striping has been completed.
July 2, 2026
Work Completed This Week
In Stage 1, crews:
- Completed curb and gutter installations
- Finished preparing the gravel road base for paving
- Continued preparing sidewalks for concrete work
Work Planned Next Week
In Stage 1, crews plan to:
- Pave the first layer of pavement on Monday, July 6, weather permitting. This work was rescheduled from July 1 due to weather.
- Complete sidewalk preparation and begin concrete work between Olive Street and Pine Street.
- Properties will be notified in advance of any impacts. During the workday, crews will do their best to accommodate regular access.
In the Phase 3 (area shown in green), final paving was completed on July 2, and the road is now open to traffic. Roadway striping will take place late in the week of July 6.
June 26, 2026
Work Completed This Week
In Stage 1, crews:
- Completed constructing the new road section
- Completed installing the irrigation system
- Poured concrete curb and gutter on 1st Street between Pine Street and Spruce Street
- Began preparing sidewalk for concrete work
Work Planned Next Week
In Stage 1, crews plan to:
- Grade the road and place the gravel in preparation for paving
- Paving is planned for Wednesday, July 1, weather permitting
- Continue preparing sidewalks for concrete work
- Properties will be notified in advance of any impacts. During the workday, crews will do their best to accommodate regular access.
