2026 Infrastructure Improvements
Construction Update
June 19, 2026
Construction on the City of Jordan’s 2026 Infrastructure Improvements project began this week and the contractor is making great progress, despite some wet weather! Please see below for a summary of the work completed this week, what to expect next week, and some general information to be aware of.
Week of June 15
- Removal of curb and gutter and pedestrian ramps have been completed on Ervin Industrial Dr, Enterprise Dr, Corporate Dr, 185th St, the eastern half of Timberline Neighborhood, and the Bridle Creek/Arborview Neighborhood.
- All curb and gutter has been replaced on Ervin Industrial Dr, Enterprise Dr, Corporate Dr, and 185th St.
- Removals of curb and gutter and pedestrian ramps have been marked (pink paint) in Sawmill Woods. The contractor began saw cutting on Friday in preparation of removals.
Week of June 22
- The concrete crew will continue to install concrete curb and gutter and pedestrian ramps on Ervin Industrial Ave, the eastern half of Timberline, and then Bridle Creek/Arborview.
- Once concrete curb and gutter installation is complete, crews will install a bituminous (asphalt) patch in front of newly poured curb and gutter. This work will be completed on Ervin Industrial Dr, Enterprise Dr, Corporate Dr, 185th St, and tentatively the eastern half of Timberline.
- Removals of curb and gutter and pedestrian ramps are planned to start mid-week in the Sawmill Woods area. Crews are anticipating installing portions of Sawmill Woods curb and gutter at the end of the week, into the following week.
General Notes
- No parking is allowed near these removal/new concrete sections during construction. Please move all vehicles away from marked/newly constructed areas by 7 a.m. each day.
- New concrete curbs, gutters, and pedestrian ramps cannot be driven or parked on for 7 days. This gives the concrete time to cure and harden.
- If sections of concrete curb and gutter at your driveway have been replaced, you may be required to park on the street while the concrete cures.
- Please refrain from walking, riding bikes, etc. on new concrete for 24 hours after it has been poured.
- If you happen to step in the fresh concrete, please contact the project team immediately, repairs can sometimes be made depending on the stage of the curing process.
- If your irrigation system has been impacted, please contact Dylan Anderson (651-416-6176). Feel free to text Dylan with a photo(s) and the address of the impacted irrigation. We will be documenting damages and coordinating with property owners to have the irrigation repaired, once construction in the area is almost complete.
